With profound sadness, Malnar Injury Law shares the passing of Scott Anderson, a valued member of our team and a dear personal friend to our founder, Ryan Malnar. His passing has left a tremendous void in our firm and in Ryan's life personally.

"I want to help people"

Before joining our firm, Scott spent decades in the insurance industry as both a claims adjuster and an insurance broker. After a successful career, he told Ryan he wanted to do something different. In his own words, "I want to help people."

That is exactly what he did.

What Scott brought to our clients

Scott brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. He assisted with crash investigations and helped our clients navigate the often frustrating process of resolving property damage claims after automobile accidents. His understanding of insurance companies, his passion for advocating for others, and his willingness to go the extra mile made him an invaluable resource to our firm and the people we serve.

"Scott was someone you could count on, someone who would give freely of his time and expertise, and someone who truly cared about the people around him."
Ryan Malnar

More than a colleague

Ryan had the privilege of knowing Scott for approximately 15 years. In that time, he came to know him as a man of extraordinary integrity, unwavering loyalty, and genuine kindness. Scott was far more than a knowledgeable professional, and Ryan is profoundly grateful for their friendship and for the opportunity to work alongside him.

A devoted husband, father, and friend

Outside of work, Scott was a devoted husband to Tambria and a loving father to Greer. He enjoyed sports, music, traveling, and supporting others throughout the Colorado Springs community. His generosity extended well beyond his professional life, and he touched countless people through his friendships, his service, and his involvement in local business organizations.

Scott's educational videos

Just days before his passing, Scott and Ryan recorded several educational videos about important issues surrounding automobile accidents and insurance claims. At the request of Scott's family, we will continue sharing some of these videos in the coming weeks. We hope they will serve not only as a valuable resource for the people we help, but also as a lasting reminder of Scott's knowledge, personality, and sincere desire to make a difference.

Honoring Scott's memory

Scott's family has suggested that those wishing to honor his memory consider supporting Keep Colorado Fed or Lakeside Pride, two organizations that were meaningful to him.

To everyone who had the opportunity to work with Scott, thank you for allowing him to be part of your lives. Our team remains fully committed to serving you with the same dedication, compassion, and integrity that Scott demonstrated every day.

We will miss his friendship, his wisdom, his humor, and his unwavering willingness to help.

Rest in peace, my friend. You made a difference, and you will not be forgotten.
